Many people wonder how i got this awesome url.. let me tell you.
When I closed my eyes, I saw this thing, a sign, I saw this name in bright blue neon lights with a purple outline. And this name was so bright and so sharp that the sign - it just blew up because the name was so powerful... It said, "Towritelesbiansonherarms."

Hey guys, have you met Susan?
This is her shielding the anti-reg side from Ragnarok (thor clone) despite being on the pro-reg side at the time (not for much longer though)
She’s also known as Invisible woman. She’s the female member of the Fantastic Four.
A lot of people think she can only turn invisible and make force fields.
Well i am here to enlighten you on how much of a badass she actually is.
So yeah
You’ve got your invisibility which is neat-o and fab..o
and she can make force fields which is kinda awesome
She can make other people and objects invisible (apparently affecting up to forty thousand cubic feet of volume
She can also make things that are invisible.. visible.
Her force fields can be solid like a wall or fluid like a liquid.
She can even use her force fields to get oxygen from water (but this hurts her brain)
She can make invisible energy constructs (force field type thingymajiggy)  into various shapes like columns, spheres, darts, boxes, etc and also use them as weapons by generating force behind them
She can make dome force fields many miles across.
She can create a force field/construct inside something/someone and then expand it thus causing the person/thing/object to explode.
She can simulate telekinesis by using her powers to move objects.
She can ride on top of her constructs kinda like a lift (elevator to you foreign devils)
Her power is only limited by her concentration; once she stops concentrating on a field, it simply ceases to exist.
She has also been trained in martial arts by iron fist and had additional training from others.
In the ultimate universe she is said to be as smart as Reed.
She once made lots of marvel zombies go blind by making their optic nerves invisible.
She also incapacitated zombie reed richards by using her powers to collapse part of his brain thus giving him brain damage.
She also trapped loads of robotic insect things inside a cube construct and then shrunk it until they got squished.
So yeah… in the past few weeks she’s made herself one of my favourite female characters.
ALL HAIL QUEEN SUSAN!

30 Days of Marvel—#1 Favorite Character—Thor

femmebotshaveemotion:

I originally thought this post would be a little more simple.  Who is your favorite character?  Well, Thor.  Almost everybody knows that even when they first meet me.  I have a reputation as “Thor Girl”.  My walls are full of Thor comics and related items.  My wallet is all about Thor and I have plenty of Thor shirts.

But it’s a lot easier to show my love for Thor rather than to explain my love for Thor.  There are some days when I feel like he may not even be my favorite character.  Then I remember “our” history with each other.  It’s a long one.  I guess you could say that.  I’m still young so most people will have more years of loving/reading Thor.

The Adventures of Babysitting is what originally introduced me to Thor.  The movie taught me three different lessons after the first time I watched it.  1. Grow up and become a babysitter.  2. Blonde guy with hammer seems to be awesome.  3. Cool girls can like comics, too.  Isn’t a little funny?  The reason I started to read comics was because the girl in the movie reassure me it was alright.

The first issue I ever read was The Mighty Thor #2 from when it restarted at the end of the 1990s.  The issue started with Thor already dead.  The Destroyer killed him and it also killed a man named Jake Olson.  This not only started my love for Thor comics but created an odd love for paramedics.  I realized that I needed more and that I wanted more.  The series had constant adventure, action, love and family relationships to offer.  But the best part was the fact that all of this was a mythology based series.

Once I started to learn and read more of Thor, I became more involved with the mythology world of Marvel.  Ever since I was little, I loved mythology.  I was one of the “stupid” kids who had to leave the program and earned special attention because I couldn’t read.  I didn’t even talk until later in my life.  Everybody else around me excelled while I fell behind until I started to develop my interest in mythology.  Therefore, Thor found a special place in my heart.  I wanted to love to read and fell in love with reading.

Thor was exciting.  He lived in a mythological world.  But Thor was also sent to Earth, which made everything more interesting.  Even when he was in Jake Olson’s body.  He was a stranger in strange land.  No matter what, he always felt more isolated compared to all the other characters.  Even in The Avengers, there was everybody else and then there was Thor.  Maybe it was how I hyper focused on his character, but he always felt distant, reserved until certain moments.  And those certain moments always involve a whacky outburst from him.

He was an overall character that was easy to relate, too.  Not to mention, he’s noble yet arrogant.  Thor is a contradiction.  I like that.  I like that because I feel like in life all I am is a contradiction.  There is no just black and there is no just white and there is no just gray.  There is black, white and gray.

In short, Thor was everything that I was and wasn’t all at the same time.  He was a stranger in strange land who never really belonged anywhere.  He didn’t belong on Earth but he didn’t belong in Asgard.

I have a lot of trouble summing up the right words to truly describe my love for Thor and all the reasons to why he is my favorite character.

To celebrate 3000 followers (which I hit a few days ago—that’s how long it took me to make this lol), I decided to make a Hawkeye comics masterpost. I’m not sure if there is one out there already, but it’s the least I can do for all of you amazing people who decided that my craptastic blog is worthy of your follows, so thank you. All of you.

It’s not the most comprehensive list, but I’ve put together (chronologically, I hope) issues that feature Hawkeye prominently/important to his character development and relationships with other Avengers. I have also left out his time with the West Coast and Great Lakes Avengers, and the entire Silver Age era because I was unable to find them.

Thunderbolts (in which Hawkeye becomes the leader of the Thunderbolts | it’s a borderline optional read)

#19-75

Avengers Disassembled (in which the Scarlet Witch loses her mind and causes a few Avengers to lose their lives)

Avengers #500 | Avengers #501 | Avengers #502 | Avengers #503 | Avengers Finale

Fallen Son: Captain America (a one-shot in the repercussion of Civil War)

(x)

Note: Clint also appears in Captain America vol. 5 with Bucky Barnes as Captain America.

The Ronin era (in which Clint Barton sheds the identity of Hawkeye and takes on the mantle of Ronin from Echo, aka Maya Lopez)

The New Avengers

#26 | #30

Secret Invasion #2 (x)

New Avengers: The Reunion

The Suspicion | #1 | #2 | #3 | #4

Dark Reign: The List: Avengers #1 (x)

New Avengers Annual #3 (x)

Note: Clint has a considerable role in the Dark Reign and Secret Invasion arc but I did not include all of those issues. You can find his further adventures (or misadventures, more like) as Ronin under the New Avengers series.

Hawkeye and Hawkeye (in which Clint Barton meets Kate Bishop)

Young Avengers Presents #6 (x)

Note: Clint meets up with the Young Avengers again in the Children’s Crusade arc in issue #9

Solo and not-so-solo outings (these are must-read, seriously)

Hawkeye and Mockingbird (a great character spotlight on Mockingbird)

#1-6

Widowmaker (with both Black Widow and Mockingbird)

Hawkeye: Blindspot (great introduction to Clint’s origins)

#1 | #2 | #3 | #4

Avengers Solo: Hawkeye

#1-5

Fear Itself and its aftermath (in which issues relevant to Hawkeye were included; I did not include issues in the Fear Itself arc because it’s best read in its entirety)

Avengers

#13 | #15 | #18 | #19

Costume Reboot era (in which Hawkeye teams up with some other superheroes and gets a totally kickass new costume inspired by both the Ultimates and The Avengers movie)

Secret Avengers #21.1 (x) (Hawkeye goes on to lead the Secret Avengers and his adventures with the team continue in #22 onwards)

Captain America and Hawkeye (ongoing series)

#629 | #630 | #631

Avenging Spider-man #4 (x)

Hawkeye is currently in the following ongoing series: Secret Avengers (#22 onwards), Avengers (#20 onwards leading into Avengers vs. X-Men), Captain America and Hawkeye, and Avengers Assemble (#1 onwards). He will get a spinoff series with the younger Hawkeye in August.

edit: please reblog this one as I forgot to include the download link for Avengers Solo: Hawkeye. I apologise for the inconvenience.

So.. today while doing something at work on the interwebs (hint: it wasn’t work related) i saw an issue of Y: the last man and a thought popped in to my head

towritecomicsonherarms:

“What would the women of marvel do if all of the males vanished?” and then it evolved in to “What would the women of marvel do if all of the males were killed off by a virus released by an invading alien army?”

And i started creating an epic comic book idea which i will never do anything with because i am lazy and easily get dist- THAT DOG HAS A PUFFY TAIL! hee hee tee hee!

okay.. so let me tell you what i managed to come up with today.

Aliens turned up in the early 20th century and saw man killing each other in europe. they came back a quarter of a century later and they were doing it all again. They came back in the 21st century with a genetically engineered virus/parasite/organism that basically ate the brain of males. They figured the earth would be much easier to conquer with all of the males dead. So one fine day all of the male humans on earth dropped dead. Most male mutants and super powered males died as well but not as fast. People with a healing factor like Wolverine and Deadpool didn’t die but because the brain was constantly regenerating and degenerating at the same time they were left in a vegetable state. Males from Asgard were not troubled by this.

The aliens then attacked and wiped out any resistance they found and quickly took over the world. Only a handful of female villains and heroines managed to survive.

5 years later they are still fighting back at the alien invaders who are raping the planet for resources and using the surviving female population as workers.

Sue “invisible woman” storm richards is in charge of the resistance aka The Furies

(In Greek mythology the Erinyes (Ἐρινύες, pl. of Ἐρινύς, Erinys; literally “the avengers”) from Greek ἐρίνειν ” pursue, persecute”—sometimes referred to as “infernal goddesses” (Greek χθόνιαι θεαί)— were female chthonic deities of vengeance. They correspond to the Furies or Dirae in Roman mythology.)

Her “generals” are Daisy “Quake” johnson, Maria Hill and Abigail brand (of S.W.O.R.D)

They also have help from some super advanced Nick Fury life model decoys. Sue is in a weird relationship with Xavin (shape changing super skrull ex bf/gf of Karolina Dean [K.I.A]) S/he usually takes the shape of Reed Richards.

Other resistance members include

The Iron Maidens (all have stark tech suits)

Pepper Potts - in a more badass version of her rescue armour

Black Widow - black iron man suit

Kitty Pryde (now paralyzed from the waist down. she can still use her powers of intangibility while inside a mech)

MJ watson - Iron spider suit

Victoria Hand - a more advanced iron patriot suit

The Avengers

Songbird (now also has the powers of moonstone due to being in possession of the moonstones)

Molly Hayes

X-23

She-hulk (who is now also the juggernaut)

Satana

Valkyrie

Dagger (she is now in possession of the venom symbiote)

Troll

Storm

Blink

Elektra

Lady Bullseye

Typhoid Mary

The higher ups - These 3 don’t usually get involved. They’re there mostly for the lulz. Emma is the only one who will help.. in the end.

The Enchantress (now the sorceress supreme. her first act was to banish thor from earth [i needed a reason to get rid of one of the most powerful beings in the marvel universe])

Female Loki

Emma Frost (has had her powers boosted by Amora (the enchantress))

=======

So yeah.. i had this idea of Sue and Daisy teaming up and using their powers together. Sue could trap things inside a force field and then daisy could cause an epic quake inside.

And an end battle would involve Sue making the biggest force field ever (dozens of miles across) to contain a giant alien warship while daisy shakes it like a polaroid picture.

And now i will continue to work on this in my head until i get get distracted by something shiny or a cracking set of chebs.

So er.. yeah.. carry on.

tl;dr version

i don’t blame you tbh cos that is a lot of wordage.
